Hi folks -- it's been a while since I have posted. Want to bring to your attention two presentations that I was involved in this year that support the history of the programs Suspense and The Whistler. They are accessible from research pages I have set up and directly on YouTube.

The Whistler (presentation made at Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention, September 2019 with researcher Karl Schadow)

Suspense (presentation made at SPERDVAC, November 2019)

One of the key topics is the effect of the Hollywood blacklist on Suspense in the 1950s.

Old Time Radio Researchers is becoming much more active again as we have had to deal with administrative problems from the passing of Jim Beshires and the assumption of his efforts by a new set of volunteers. It took some doing, but the organization is in process of working on updates to existing archive.org program archives and some new ones. It is likely that Suspense will be ugraded sometime in 2020.

I may post some smaller series that OTRR resources are not necessary.

Best and kindest regards
